!!! Run for ALS: Fueling Breath of Hope !!!

Dear Friends,

On the 5th of November, I'm hitting the pavement for a marathon with a mission that hits close to home. I run for those who are gradually losing their ability to eat, speak, and breathe, victims of a relentless adversary - Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) - a disease that paralyzes muscles - from those that enable us to walk to those that enable us to breathe.

I lost my father to this unforgiving disease, and I saw firsthand how it gradually robbed him of his independence and most basic functions. The ALS Foundation was our constant support throughout my father's battle, offering care, compassion, and hope, providing us with material and non-material help that the Turkish health system could not deliver on time.

As their respiratory muscles become paralyzed, ALS patients are becoming dependent on 24/7 on respiratory machines. Generators, costing $330 each, power essential respiratory machines, sustaining the very essence of life for those who can't do it themselves.

I run to ensure ALS patients can continue to breathe.
Your support matters! Your donation fuels the lifeline of ALS patients, allowing them to breathe when their muscles can't and it is a lifeline of hope for those fighting a relentless battle.

How You Can Help:
- Donate: Even the smallest amount counts towards our goal of supporting ALS patients. 10 Dollars equal to approximately 300 Turkish liras, and if 30 people were to donate 10 Dollars each, we would get a generator already!
